with E. Meyer: 历史department最难的课之一，阅读量很多(average 100+页/周， 主要是discussion的reading)，考试时候时间压力也蛮大的，但是老师讲的很好，topics都非常的interesting，推荐罗马史“入门”狂热爱好者，或者对于这方面有一定兴趣，而且这个学期其他课程workload不是很大的同学去上。
